Industrial engineer, across three fields.
Optimization and data, quantitative finance, and design. I build models by day and websites, paintings, and sculptures the rest of the time.
I studied industrial engineering at Bilkent University and work where optimization, finance, and design overlap. My research sits in robust and mixed-integer optimization: I am currently a guest researcher at the Zuse Institute Berlin, working on Frank-Wolfe methods and the Boscia solver.
Alongside the engineering, I design and build. That means premium websites for clients, and painting and sculpture in the studio. From Adana, based in Berlin.

- Built an end-to-end income prediction pipeline in R (tidymodels) for Turkey's first digital participation bank, replacing a rule-based onboarding step that was losing customers at sign-up.
- Benchmarked five models on masked customer records enriched with credit bureau and province-level data; delivered an R Shiny decision-support tool tied to segmentation and credit decisions.
